"Chiropractic - hands on health"

Chiropractic - hands on health - helping the body to heal itself. What an exciting profession to be a part of! And having just completed five years of chiropractic studies, the prospects ahead seem endless.

But one must spare a few thoughts for remaining students and encourage them to keep at it. It wasn't all smooth sailing and therefore students should remember to seek help and advice from those offering it at the university and from Chiropractors in the field.

One should never be afraid to ask questions. You should make use of the staff available and seek out those answers. Maintaining a high level of confidence is sometimes difficult, but very important. Believe in yourself and don't lose sight of the big picture.

It's not all books and bodies, as friendships form and support networks are made. You have your good days and your better days and you should enjoy them all because those five years of study sure fly by.

With the reality of starting "real work" soon, it is a comfort to know that there are talented, wise and caring Chiropractors who are willing to help the new graduates find their feet, in this wonderful profession.

A very big thankyou must go to the family and friends that support and encourage the Chiropractic students and to the lecturers, tutors and staff who help dreams become a reality.
