ESSENTIALS
FOR CHIROPRACTIC PRACTICE
'Due
diligence is the key'
In
this module you will obtain numerous sample legal agreements
that will protect you and your business.
It's
not how much money you earn - it's how much you keep!
In order to keep your hard-earned income, your business
and legal structures are paramount. They protect not only
your investment but also your future wealth and security.
Do
you procrastinate on writing legal reports for attorneys?
Outstanding, extensive reports can be completed quickly,
easily and accurately, by using our legal report template.
Are
you planning to sell your practice, or are you looking
for an associate? Here you will find a great range of
sample practice prospectus outlines and various questionnaires.
Let me highlight this point
by revealing to you some of the things that I
considered the most difficult in my first year
in practice:- Having to hire and fire staff; dealing
with solicitors, accountants, insurance agents
etc. (How do you know who to trust?); Clinic forms
and keeping records (Where do you stand legally?
) … I realised that I could save a lot of time,
energy and money by using many of the tools and
ideas presented by John and Judy Hinwood.
Dr Paul Mudge, Victoria,
Australia (1st year graduate chiropractor, 1994)

10. BUSINESS
PLAN QUESTIONNAIRE FOR ESTABLISHING A NEW PRACTICE
When
establishing a new practice, there are many potential
traps and hidden costs to consider. By using this questionnaire,
you will be forced to think about and plan what you
are doing in a logical, comprehensive manner.
If you follow through, all the major
areas will be covered. Legal costs, council costs, tenancy
or purchase agreements, cash-flows, clinic fees, plant
and equipment purchases and leases, and insurances.
Murphy's Law states that anything that can go wrong
will go wrong; so plan ahead and cover yourself BEFORE
you take the plunge. Anguished hindsight is a costly
way to get experience when compared to intelligent planning.
