Dr Kyle McCandless, a client of Powerful Practices, practices in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia.  He recently conducted a Spinal Screening with another chiropractor from his practice at the Home, Leisure and Lifestyle Show. Between the two chiropractors, and over two days, they screened 205 people.  Of those screened, 108 made new client appointments, 86 showed for that appointment (at the time of writing) and of those, over 70 scheduled for a fully paid Report of Findings visit. Could you handle 86 new clients in 2 weeks?

There were 2 main reasons their screening was so successful:

1.  They had a “Call to Action”. They offered their new client consultation and examination at a 50% discount if they booked while they were at the screening.

2. They had “Greeters”. Dr Kyle stated their CAs were at the screenings and they went out of the booth and walked up and introduced themselves to people who walked by. They said, “Hi we are from Wellspring Chiropractic. We have two Chiropractors in the booth and they are offering free spinal screenings. Would you be interested in finding out the health of your spine?”  Dr Kyle noticed that out of all the screenings he has ever done, this was the first where anyone went out and ‘Greeted’ people as they came by, instead of the usual hiding in the booth. He said it was the single biggest thing to getting people into the booth and rapport had already been built.

Where are you hiding in the “booth”?  Why are you still hiding behind the adjusting table or burying your head in ‘paperwork”? Go out and become a “greeter” for your practice and get to know your community.
