Berni Ireland graduated as a qualified Life Coach from Real Education which added to Berni’s training skills previously developed from a background of primary and secondary teaching.   Berni has a Diploma in Teaching, with Honours.  During her teaching career she specialised in resource teaching, which dealt with learning difficulties.  She was involved in staff training assisting to design and develop specific programs for teachers to integrate into the classroom.

Berni holds certificates in Renaissance and Quest courses, Cannon Communication, where she has completed courses with Ngaire Cannon. She holds a Certificate for Chiropractic Assistants from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and Certified Chiropractic Assistant certificate from The Centre for Powerful Practices. Berni has been a Chiropractic Assistant for over 20 years.

Berni is married to Michael and together they travelled around Australia for 2 years on a working holiday.  Berni’s multi-tasking and survival skills really came into play during this time, from managing restaurants to scaling fish and navigating sand dunes! They both certainly had fun and made friends wherever they went!

The next adventure they planned was to go Adelaide, South Australia and work for 12 months.  A position as Chiropractic Assistant (CA) saw Berni’s passion for natural health start to shine. With initial support, education, love and encouragement from Dr Paul Lawrence, Berni was able to help fire up an unstoppable passion for Chiropractic. She was a major instigator in lifting the profile of Chiropractic in Adelaide and South Australia.  Berni was a founding member of the Australian Chiropractic Assistants Association and served as President for 4 years.  Yes, twelve months became eight glorious years in Adelaide.  Berni was involved in practice building, CA training and team coaching. She was also the CA representative who attended the Chiropractors’ Association Executive meetings in South Australia for 3 years.
(Chiropractic has never been the same since Berni came to town!)

The Centenary of Chiropractic saw Berni as a major organizer of the never to be forgotten and hugely successful 100 year dinner.  The venue was at the picturesque Adelaide Oval in a marquee, after the circus tent style of B.J. Palmer, the Developer of Chiropractic. Berni’s organizational skills and spirit of fun really shone at this celebration for the Chiropractic family.

In 2001, Berni was logistics coordinator for one of the most successful Dynamic Growth (DG) Congresses ever completed.  Held on the Gold Coast in Australia, DG is the largest annual Chiropractic gathering in the Southern Hemisphere.  She is a regularly sought after speaker at both the major DG congress and regional workshops held throughout Australia.   She is a generous and avid supporter of The Australian Spinal Research Foundation, and was also made an Associate Governor for ASRF to acknowledge her contributions.

Berni’s most frequently asked question is “Why are you always happy?” She answers, “I am always happy because Happiness is a choice!” Another reason is that Berni knows it is because she has an ever positive attitude which inspires all those she knows and comes into contact with.  Berni says “Being sad is like being sick and who wants to be sick?”

Berni has a wealth of knowledge and skills from a very diverse cross section;  education, natural health care, Life Coach, Business Coach, Chiropractic Assistant, trainer, facilitator, office manager and consultant.  

Through her extensive study of words and language, Berni excels in coaching what words to use and which to avoid so that the best positive impact communication can be created.  Along with her skills of teaching and role play, Berni’s emphasis is concentrated on the relationship between physiology and emotions.  This relationship clearly demonstrates how different postures can change our whole being.   

Berni succeeded as she puts it in ‘standing on top of the world’ on Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) in Norway, another goal achieved. 

Berni’s belief in the power of positive thinking combined with her amazing goal setting and achieving techniques is definitely one of her major strengths.

Berni’s aim in coaching and training is to empower individuals and teams to be inspired to take action in their lives so that one person at a time, in massive momentum, can positively change the consciousness of the world.

Berni loves, lives and breathes life coaching.  Her belief is you only really know something when you’re living it and can teach it to others.  Her passion is to coach and teach her excellent life and communication skills to as many people as possible all over the world with love.
