Problem: How
do I download the eBooks
Solution: If you have
never downloaded the eBook before you will need to
log into the VIP area of the Home Page (on the right hand side) with your email address and the
password you where issued when you purchased the book.
Once you have logged in you will be asked where you would
like to go. Select "My Powerful Tools".
Once inside My Powerful Tools you should read the instructions "Steps to Downloading eBooks" which appears
at the top of the page.
If you have downloaded the eBook before you simply
need to open up Adobe Adobe Digital Editions (Start > Programs > Adobe Digital Editions)
Problem: I
am experiencing problems opening the E-books
Solution: Download and install
the latest FREE version of Adobe
Digital Editions.
Problem: I have downloaded Adobe Reader 8 or Adobe Reader 7 and I am experiencing problems opening the E-books
Solution: Adobe Reader 8 and Adobe Reader 7 is still experiencing minor problems with eBooks. We recommend that you download Adobe
Digital Editions.

Problem:
I can hear the audio but I can't see the video.
Solution: Download the latest
version of Media

Problem: I
can't hear anything when I open an audio file.
Solution: Download the latest
version of Media

General
Problem:
I keep getting little green lines appear in pages and
it is hard to read.
Solution: Set your colours
to 24bit. In Windows right click on the desktop
and select PROPERTIES. Then go to the SETTINGS tab. Select
24 bit color from the colors drop-down list. For
other operating systems, please consult your help files.
Logging in
Problem:
I cannot log in. Every time I try it puts me back to the
Members' log in screen and I seem to be doing loops.
Solution1: Check the date
on your computer and make sure it is correct. In Windows
double click on the time at the bottom right hand side
of your computer, if it is wrong, change it. Then test
it again by logging in.
Solution2: If the date was
correct, make sure cookies are enabled on your browser
(If you are not sure how to do this, click on the HELP
dropdown menu at the very top of your browser and search
for cookies).
Solution3: If you have installed
a firewall perhaps the security settings are blocking
cookies from this web site, consult your Firewall help
to determine if your are blocking cookies.
Solution4. Perhaps
you have changed your security settings on your Internet
Browser to HIGH. If so this could be stopping cookies
from being accessed.
Problem:
I keep getting the following error: "The username
or password you supplied was incorrect".
Solution: Click on the "Forgot
your Password?" link on the Members'
Log In screen before you log in.
Problem:
I filled out the "Forgot Your Password?" form
and I didn't receive my password in my email.
Solution1: Your email address
is probably different now to what it was. You can try
again with a different email address or fill out the form
at the bottom of the screen with your contact details
and we will get in contact with you shortly.
Solution2: If your
were an original Foundations Member and we did not have
your email address we would have issued you a temporary
Username instead of using your email address. Please read
your Welcome Letter that was mailed to you by post. It
will contain your Username and Password. It might pay
to change your details (button found in the members area
after you have logged in) so that next time you will not
forget.
Problem:
I have seen the "Forgot Your Password?" form
and I don't know which email address I was using when
I registered.
Solution: Fill out the form
at the bottom of the screen with your contact details
and we will get in touch with you shortly.
I have tried everything
You should try rebooting your computer
(turning it off and on again) . Then check the problem
again. Rebooting your computer will tend to fix most problems.
It clears everything out of the computer's memory and
allows it to try again without any conflicts.
