8 STEPS TO MANIFESTATION
By Peter Spann, Freeman Fox

One of my favourite topics has always been the "8 Steps to Manifestation".  I share them with you here to inspire and motivate:

  1. Find yourself in a place of gratitude
This first step is essential.  No matter how difficult you think your life is there is always evidence that others have it far worse.  On the flip side to that negative thinking there is evidence, if you look hard enough, for how good your life is.  How positive it is.  And how much you have to be grateful for.  Manifestation is a spiritual process that relies on energy.  I can't really explain it but if you have negative energy you will continue to attract negative things to you and that negativity will compound.  If you have positive energy you will continue to attract positive things to you and that positivity will compound.  You don't have to be too much of a flower child to get this.  Positive people attract other positive people and those people seem to have more energy, more happiness, more focus and more success.  The more of those you attract to you the more likely it is that it will rub off on you and you'll share in that happiness, focus, and success.  And the easiest way to get into a positive space is to be grateful for everything in your life.
  1. Open yourself to the possibilities
It's so easy in times of turmoil to become closed, to think that your worries and burdens outweigh your possibilities.  But our lives are full of possibilities and opportunities if we remain open.
  1. Make a decision
Choice creates options but a decision is power.  The human mind is hard wired to act only with certainty, and certainty comes from decision making.   Create a burning desire for what it is that you want in life, and build a sense of urgency into it.  Make sure you heap on more and more clarity and maintain persistence of thought.
  1. Release the decision
Regardless of your religious beliefs, faith is a mandatory component of manifestation.  Different people come to faith in different ways.  Some do it through a form of belief in entitlement, some through belief in destiny, some through affirmation, and some through belief in a higher power. Regardless of how you come to faith, you must know that you are worthy, that you are deserving, and that releasing the possibilities and the outcome to faith is a crucial and sometimes very difficult step. How do you want something and then let it go?  Answer that question for yourself and you have not only the key to success but the key to happiness.
  1. Pay attention
Opportunity is not usually delivered by sledge hammer.  It is often presented obtusely and through coincidence.  If you are waiting for it to walk up to you in a red ribbon wrapped invitation you'll miss it.  Rarely does the lotto truck just back up and dump a million on the front lawn.  Look for coincidence.  Remain open to possibility.  Talk to people, do different things. Say "yes" to invitations that are intriguing.  Take the risk to let people in on your dreams.
  1. Seize the opportunity
Windows open and close quickly.  The universe is busy.  The organizing energy, fluid.  It does not have time for your procrastination.  When you are given an opportunity take it, and take it quickly.  Hold onto it and protect it until it is strong enough to grow on its own.  Nurture it and go with it.  Take massive action.
  1. Be grateful whatever you receive
Manifestation is certainly not a precise science.  In my experience we get what we need to grow rather than what our ego says we want.  You will not always get what you expect but you will always experience what you need.  Recognise that and be grateful.  The last two years is not what I wanted but gee I've learnt a lot.  More in the last two years then in the last ten.  And if nothing else, that accelerated learning has got to be something I am grateful for.   The process of gratitude continues and expands manifestation.
  1. Be loved
This is a difficult concept for many people to grasp. I have come to the conclusion, after many years of pondering, that the secret to life, the thing that all humans are searching for is love, in all its many and glorious forms.  Love embraces many things but it can be as simple as that warm glow of happiness when you have achieved something, or are surrounded by positive things or positive people, all the way through to romantic love.  Whatever it is I have discovered that when manifestation happens so does love.  And through love we reach out, we grow, we become better, we evolve and we help those around us do so too.

It's not always possible but it is very powerful.  And love flows automatically to gratitude which flows automatically to possibility which starts the entire process over again.
